Company news21.02.2011Surcharge Announcement – Port Congestion Surcharge Dear valued customer, This is to announce the implementation of port congestion surcharge applicable to Russia (First Container Terminal only) . The port conditions at FCT have deteriorated due to the difficult weather conditions and significant increase of cargo flow to St.Petersburg in the past months. These factors are complicating the removal of containers from the terminals and as a result, the terminals have been forced to implement additional surcharges and increase current tariffs on terminal operations. A number of shipping lines announced the port congestion surcharge (PCS). Our managers will inform you about companies and exact amount of PCS.
